FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE FOUR YEARS OLD

We have 3 classes for this age group. Our Bears class is for younger fours. Our Raccoons and Tigers classes are for older fours. These classes are our full-day programs, however it is possible to only do half days, being picked up at 12:00. During this very important preparation time, children will strengthen their self-management and communication skills. Our 4’s classes focus on helping children use words and not actions to communicate. Children will learn phonics, blends, and some simple sight words. These lessons will prepare your child with the knowledge and self-confidence to begin reading. Our goal by the end of the year is for your child to recognize all their letters and sounds, 10 colors, 6 shapes, and the numbers 0-50. Children should also learn from memory their address, birth date, phone number, and several short Bible memory verses. Additionally, children will further develop their fine motor skills to zip zippers and tie their shoes. Our four-year-old classes will give your child a firm foundation for Kindergarten readiness.  Children are more successful with active parent participation.
